Additionally outside betting can be done, with the options of betting on a large group of positional groupings, the pocket colour or whether the winning number is odd or even. Players can continue to place bets as the ball spins around the wheel until the dealer announces no more bets.
Roulette Strategies
A popular strategy in the game of roulette is known as Martingale, which simply involves betting on red/black or odd/even and doubling your bet everytime you lose. You’ll profit the initial bet you’ve made in the first place.
Example: You start with a bet of $5 and lose. You now double your bet to $10, but lose again. Again you double your bet, now to $20, and lose again! Finally, after doubling your bet to $40, you win and get $80. Let’s see how you did: -5 + -10 + -20 + -40 = -75, Plus your $80 payout gives you a profit of $5.
Be careful though utilizing this strategy, in theory with an infinite bankroll this will leave you with profit but as you know an infinite bankroll does not exist. Chances are you will double your bet until you’re out of money or lose your whole bankroll.
